"I'd be very excited if I got an offer from there, and it would be a good choice to go to Ohio State," Bogard said.
Bogard said he would categorize his interest in Northwestern as "medium to high", adding that academics are his top priority.
"It's a great academic school. I love Northwestern. They send me a lot of mail about their school and how it is."
Bogard has not visited Northwestern, but knows a lot about the school. With academics as his top priority, Bogard is very impressed with NU.
"I do know that it's a good school for one. Academics are high, and they graduate at least 90%, and I do want to go to school to graduate. Football will get me there. My coach talks about them all the time."
There is still plenty of time left for De'van. He has not made a schedule for trips, and does not have a list of top schools. For now, Bogard is playing the waiting game.
"I really don't have my plans laid out," Bogard added. "I'm waiting to see who offers me."
