Northwestern has accepted Nikola Cerina, a forward who is transferring from TCU.

Cerina (6-9, 245) has two years of eligibility left to use at Northwestern. In his two seasons with the TCU Horned Frogs, Cerina averaged 5.7 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game during his 62 games. He started 38 games, including 18 during the 2010-11 season.

Cerina is a native of Topola Oplenac, Serbia. His career high in scoring is 21 points, which he tallied on February 13th, 2010, against Wyoming.

This season, Cerina will not be able to play immediately. He'll have to sit out this upcoming season but will have two years left after that.
