The junior quarterback out of Gabriel Richard HS lists the Wildcats and the Golden Eagles as his top two schools right now and he hopes to watch them play in the season opener if it doesn't conflict with his own game on Saturday.
"I'm going to try and watch it," he said. "We play on Saturdays so I don't know if I'll be able to, but I will try to."
So far, Sarosi has visited Northwestern, Boston College, Dartmouth, Wisconsin and Cal, and listed the first three as his favorite visits. He was very complimentary of his visit to Northwestern.
"I went up there for a camp on the 24th of June and spent the day in Evanston," he said. "I thought it was great. I really liked the campus; I saw the football facilities and they were nice.
"I love Coach Fitzgerald; he's absolutely amazing. Of course the academics are second to none."
Sarosi said that he would like his future school to have good academics, a good location—"preferably kind of in the North"—a good feel and good facilities.
"I feel like I'll spend a lot of time in the weight room," he said.
Sarosi plans to visit Northwestern again, this time on game day.
"(The coaches) told me to come out to as many games as possible, so we're probably going to be out there for a game the week before Thanksgiving, so I will definitely be out there for a game this fall," he said.
With over a year-and-a-half until his National Signing Day, Sarosi plans to take his recruitment slow in order to pick out the best school. However, he hopes to have made a decision by this time next year.
"It all kind of depends when the offers come in," he said, in regards to when he will make his commitment. "Hopefully (I will) before next season so I can get it done by senior year. I haven't talked to a lot of schools in awhile."
