Alviti Commits To Northwestern Publisher

Northwestern has received a commitment from four-star quarterback Matt Alviti, per his high school coach.

Maine South (IL) High School four-star quarterback Matthew Alviti has committed to Northwestern, per his high-school coach, Dave Inserra.

Alviti, ranked the No. 11 quarterback in the class of 2013, chose Northwestern over Michigan State and Nebraska, picking the Wildcats at their annual spring exhibition.

Alviti becomes Northwestern's first commit for the 2013 recruiting class, and is the fourth four-star recruit in Pat Fitzgerald's tenure.
