Maxwell Club Latest to Honor O'Brien

Marks the second national Coach of the Year Award for Penn State's first-year leader. O'Brien tops Kelly and Snyder for the honor.

Penn State's Bill O'Brien was named Coach of the Year by the Maxwell Football Club Wednesday, according to a tweet from the school's sports information department.

Notre Dame's Brian Kelly and Kansas State's Bill Snyder were the other finalists for the honor.

O'Brien had previously been named ESPN Coach of the Year and Big Ten Coach of the Year.
