Northwestern hoops signs memorable class

Northwestern announced its four-man recruiting class on Wednesday morning.

Per NUSports.com, Chris Collins announced his four-man recruiting class on Wednesday. Vic Law, Scott Lindsey, Bryant McIntosh and Gavin Skelly signed their National Letters of Intent.

NU is likely to add another player–perhaps a transfer–for next year's team. Regardless, this 2014 group signifies the immediate recruiting strides made under Chris Collins.

Vic Law, Collins' first signing, ranks as the 17th best small forward in his class on Scout.com. Evaluations praise his three-point shooting and overall offensive game — which should transform the program.

His second, Gavin Skelly, rose on the AAU circuit this July and impressed the Northwestern coaching staff. Collins offered the Westlake (Ohio) power forward and Skelly accepted on the spot. He'll add another dimension on the interior.

Then, Bryant McIntosh ended his recruitment in early September, giving the head coach his like-minded and immensely talented guard. The Greensburg (Ind.) star figures to be face of this program.

Finally, local guard Scott Lindsey chose NU over Iowa and Vanderbilt, and will provide the team with another perimeter threat. More of a development project, he'll help the Wildcats in their overall effort to spread the floor.

Welcome to the newest four Northwestern Wildcats.
