Here's the weekly wrapup of how our Football
commits played.
Ramon Diaz: [Morris Community HS, Morris, IL]
His #5 [#2 Seed] Redskins won again - They rolled up Springfield Lanphier 53-6 in game played Saturday.
The Morris Redskins have some kind of running game - their tailback
also plays defense and had 5 TDs in the game, including an interception
return.
They will face #3 Seed Pontiac at home Friday at 7 PM
LB/RB Mike Dinard: [Padua Franciscan
Bruins, Parma, OH]
Finished their season with a win, beating the cross town rival Parma Holy Name 21-6
The Bruins are done for the season.
LB Prince Kwateng: [Munster HS, IN]
The latest NU Commit just got his offer and pulled the trigger fast.
Every HS in Indiana plays in the state playoffs, Munster's first
game was last weekend, but they lost to Hobart 27-10 ending their
season.
QB Eric Peterman: [Sacred Heart Griffin
Cyclones, Springfield, IL
The Cyclones beat Jerseyville for the 2nd week in a row, 40-6. Peterman rushed for 66 yards and two TDs
They will keep their #1 Seed home and face Jacksonville a second time
this season in a game at 1 PM Saturday. Jacksonville has their ace
quarterback playing.
The last time SHG faced the Crimsons, they used a different look and
won 42-14 - this time expect Peterman to run the normal Cyclone spread
offense along with running back Curtis Robinson.
RB/DB Tyrell Sutton: [Archbishop Hoban Knights
- Akron OH]
Sutton finished his regular season with four TDs and 385 yards, but
it wasn't enough as rival Warren Harding HS outscored the Knights 49-35.
Sutton finishes his regular season with 2,794 yards; that's 279.4 yards
per game and 10 yards per carry. He has 31 Touchdowns this year.
He has 8,991 career rushing yards as of last Friday, and now has 36 consecutive 100+ yard games, another Ohio record.
