Its Back - The Basketball Recruit Recap

OK, there's just one, Point Guard Craig Moore from Lawrenceville Prep, but so far he's shown flashes of shooting, leadership, and maybe a little too much agressive defense. Here's a wrap of what he and his team did last weekend, along with NU's current Scholarship Status Chart.

Craig Moore [Lawrenceville School, Lawrenceville, NJ]

A mixed week for Moore and his Lawrenceville Prep Big Red team - They overwhelmed Northwest Prep 98-28 in their home opener, then rolled over Solebury School 62-47 in the opening round of the Peddie School Invitational Tournament.

Craig had 18 points in that opener, and his team had 17 steals in the first half. As you can see, he can make the layups

Moore got in foul trouble against Solebury, so the rest of his team had to carry on, including Porter Braswell, the other guard, who Moore helped recruit to Lawrenceville.

Things didn't go so well in the P.S.I.T. semi-final, they lost to the Hun School 62-59 after coming out slow. Moore fouled out of this game with 10 points.

A couple of more things about Craig -

+ He was listed as a player to watch for this season in the Trenton Times

+ He was voted to the Peddie Invitational Tournament All Tourney Team last weekend

Next up is the Boys Club Tournament Dec 17-18.
