Next year, we have a chance to be very good, but so does the rest of the B10. There should be 6 B10 teams in the pre-season top 40, and I'm guessing that us, Michigan and Iowa will be predicted 7-9 coming in. But we can do better - if we get positive answers to some of the following questions. 1. Will our playmakers be able to shoot? Specifically, I have in mind T.J. Parker, Mohamed Hachad and Mike Thompson. 2. Will we have a post threat next year? MT and VV are the two main candidates, or maybe Mo. I think those are the two main issues, but here are some things that could make us better as well.

3. How will Mo's (and VV's) decision making be? Well documented - and I'm more concerned about that than the shooting. In fact, VV could use to cut down on the mistakes as well. Having your two best playmakers be the two worst culprits for mistakes is a recipe for bad losses. 4. Will VV be able to finish around the basket? Self-explanatory, and tied into #2. He could be all B10 if he can. 5. What impact will the 1st year [new] players have? Sterling Williams and Bernard Cote could really help, but who knows? In fact, if Brandon Lee gets back on track he could make things happen as well.
