What's happening with the Wildcat Alumni who are still playing?
Majors Mark Loretta [San Diego Padres] had an interesting off season - The Padres' batting leader got to go to the White House. He's expected to be the starter at 2nd this year again after his all star performance. Minors J.A. Happ is pitching for the Batavia Muckdogs [Batavia New York] the Phillies "low A' team. He's considered one of their good prospects. [There are more NU guys playing in the Minors - We're going to try to find everyone eventually.]

Jitim Young - is playing in Belgium for Dexia Mons-Hainaut a Belgium Div 1 team. He was averaging 9.8 points per game playing for Panellinios in Athens but was released when the team fired all the americans on the team. His current team is #5 in the Belgian Basketball league. He scored 11 in his last game in a loss - he's listed as a forward, averaging just under 15 ppg. Thomas Soltau - is playing in Germany for the Bayer Giants - Leverkusen as a Power Forward/Center. Is averaging 13 1/2 minutes a game, averages 5 ppg, 2.5 rpg.
Kevin Bentley - is talking to the Green Bay Packers after being released by the Browns - But he then signed with the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks run a 4-3, they're always looking for LB Talent, and Bentley is considered talented enough to play any of the linebacker slots. The Seahawks released one of their backers last week, and right now figure to use Bentley in rushing situations. The book on Bentley is that he's not a "thumper," but he's always around the ball and has the speed to make plays out on the perimeter. He could start in Seattle. Javiar Collins - is still on the official Brown roster as a O-Lineman. The Browns cut him last year during the season, then resigned him 4 days later. He had 4 starts at OT with the Cowboys in 2002. Barry Gardner - was released by the Cleveland Browns - and signed with the New York Jets on Friday. Quick Trivia, who was the last NU Linebacker to play for the Jets? Napoleon Harris - Traded to Minnesota in the Randy Moss deal - He says he's happy to be wearing Purple again. He had a tough knee injury at the start of last season, but appears to be somewhat recovered and is expected to be the starting outside LB for the Vikes in 2005 altho he's currently listed as #2 in the middle. Austin King - Still listed as the #2 center on the Atlanta Falcon depth chart. Matt O'Dwyer - On a one year contract with Tampa Bay that was not renewed. He was injured during the off season last year, and never was cleared to play down in Tampa. Jeff Roehl - Signed with the NFL Champion New England Patriots as a free agent last Fall. Sam Simmons - Signed with the Steelers back in January. The Steelers liked his ability to both catch and run back punts. He usually finds a soft spot in the defense, but his size and speed can be a limiting factor. Jason Wright - #3 Running Back on the Atlanta Falcon depth chart - was last reported in Atlanta for spring camps. At least 6 players from the 2005 team are listed among the prospective draft choices - we'll update their locations after the NFL draft.
Luke Donald - has been taking a few weeks off - he's currently #15 on the money list Jess Daley - Still listed by the Nationwide Tour Josh Habig - is still listed on the Canadian Golf Tour player's list, but hasn't played yet this year.
