The Oklahoma All Stars beat the Texas All Stars 38-7 in the Annual Oil Bowl last weekend, but the real interest for Northwestern fans was the performance of NU Bound Jenks Quarterback Andrew Brewer.
Brewer Passed for 2 TDs and Ran for one more, and was 8 for 14 with 78 yards passing. He also ran in a 3 yard TD, and had 22 yards rushing.RB/DB Tyrell Sutton: [Archbishop Hoban Knights - Akron OH]
NU Bound Tyrell Sutton was the unanimous choice as the MVP of the annual North-South game.
His 21 Carries for 203 yards and 3 TDs dominated the game stats.
By halftime he had already gained 99 yds on 12 carries, then added another 104 yds on 9 carries and even had a 34 yard pass reception in the second stanza. He racked up 3 TDs, one of 20 yds.
"I just wanted to have fun," said Sutton in the AP Story, Ohio's reigning Mr. Football. "It's an all-star game. We had a lot of good players here and more than anything we just wanted to have a good time."
