So far there are 3 High School Football Players who have committed to Northwestern:
Western Reserve beat Blair Academy of New Jersey 37-31, finishing up their non-conference schedule 3-0. Mitchell wasn't mentioned in the very short writeup on the game, however, WRA rushed for over 300 yards - something you don't do without a decent tight end.
The #5 Panthers [4-1, 2-1] rolled over Keystone Oaks 20-0 as Phillips rished for 85 yards and threw for another 130. He was 5 of 15 passing, including 2 TDs of 48 and 5 yards. Keystone had been expected to pack the box on defense in an attempt to stop Phillips, which could explain the lower rushing numbers Friday. [Phillips had rushed for 119 yards on 14 carries and a TD the previous week.] Last Friday, Franklin lost a heartbreaker, when lightning stopped the game Friday night with Franklin leading 17-7. But when the game resumed on Saturday, the Hampton Talbots scored twice, including a 99 1/2 yard drive to win 20-17. Franklin had lost the WPIAL's leading rusher, Rob Armstrong on the 2nd play from scrimmage. [FR refocuses after heartbreaker - Murrysville Star] [WPIAL AAA Roundup - Post Gazette]
