Zach Streif is the only Senior starter on the Wildcat offensive line. On the field he's the big guy who both keeps the defense off Baz when he rolls right, and protects him from the outside rush in the pocket. Off the field, he's also the man who assumed the position of leader of the offensive line back in June. If it all starts on the offensive line, Zach is the guy charged with making it go in a positive direction...

NU right Tackle Zach Strief is #63, the big guy you see guarding Baz on the roll outs to the right.
He's the leader of the offensive line, the line with 4 new players, but he's quietly worked to forge a unit that absolutely dominated MSU today.
You know it was a good day for the whole offense, everyone came out and played and we finally kinda put an entire game together - 4 quarters.
The offensive line is only measured by the QB and RB numbers, and today the OL put up another dandy
I couldn't say enough things about Brett Basanez, amazing leader, its plain to me, I don't think there's a a better quarterback in the country in the country right now. I know that I wouldn't trade him for any quarterback in the country, and the way he leads this offense, its going to be something to stop him.
Look at the receivers too, the distribution, not just to 5 guys, but anywhere from 8 to 10 guys a game get the ball...
Yeah, you know the hardest thing for defenses right now, they have no idea where its going to come from. You can't double team anybody 'cause we've got 8 or 9, 10 really strong receivers, everyone's going out making big plays, and its going to be really tough to defend.
How about all those running backs in the game today?
Everyone got a shot in there, Robes [Brandon Roberson] broke a pretty nice run, Gerard [Hamlett] came back from a little bit of an ankle injury, and Tyrell Sutton, I can't say enough about him either, you know a freshman come in and he's pretty amazing and we're going to keep blocking as hard as we can for him.
Are they having fun up front?
You know we're having a blast in there. The only way to have a good time is to get all those guys into the end zone, so we're doing that pretty well right now, we're having a good time.
