You wonder what they're thinking up there in Mad-town. The whole story, with picture will be one that's dug out in the future [our next meeting isn't until 2009] and it probably will tick off a few veterans 3 years from now, who remember the game up at Camp Randall. Bur you wonder if the game Saturday was played for more than just Wins and Losses. In the battle for defensive talent, the former DC seems to have won a round. NU commit Blake Sorensen, after putting on a big offensive show Friday for Eden Prarie, decommitted to NU and decided to now head for Madison. Sorensen had committed last Spring along with fellow teammate Ryan McNaul, but had picked up more Division I interest lately, and an offer from Wisconsin. He was a first team All Minnesota linebacker as a junior, but scored 2 TDs last Friday as Eden Prairie rolled over Lakeville North 47-14. There were rumors he was rethinking his commit last Friday, and apparently they were true. That "revenge" they were talking about may just have been more than just a win.
