Strongsville, Ohio running back Brandon Murphy rushed for 1,907 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2002. Murphy says he's still in contact with the Northwestern staff.

“My team (Strongsville) finished 7-3 but I broke my foot in the last game so my season is done,” said running back Brandon Murphy.

Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Bowling Green, Kent State, Cincinnati and Eastern Michigan have offered me a scholarship.

Northwestern and Syracuse are still calling. I haven’t set up any official visits and I don’t have a leader right now.

“I’ll wait until after the season to set up my visits.”

Murphy, a 5-foot-8, 165-pounder, from Strongsville, Ohio is a three-year varsity starter that rushed for 1,907 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2002.
