I'm sorry you nay sayers, but NU finally has several big guys in the middle who can give our hot shooting guards a chance to control a game.
Add a devastating defense [Bill's Matchup Zone], that I've watched shut down opponents twice inone week now, and IMHO, NU is going to finish in the middle of the pack of the Big 10 this year. No kidding....
And, Coble and Moore are the real deal, so is Thompson. That is 3 players, all you need to win the conference, and there are 7 or 8 more on the bench if they don't have a good night.
NU Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald, the guy going into the Hall of Fame this week, has to appreciate the new look of NU Roundball - one that plays both offense and defense, just like his Wildcats over at Ryan Field. Its called a "more complete team" folks, and its about time.
