“The Northwestern camp went really good,’ Nick Williams said. “I enjoyed working out with coach [Randy] Bates. He is a cool guy. We worked on some basic stuff.”
“Their campus is beautiful. It’s a nice area, and they have great facilities.”
“They have a young head coach [Pat Fitzgerald]. He has been a player and he knows what he is doing. Coach Bates is a really good guy as well. Their field is amazing. The facilities are great as well.”
The Kansas prospect is waiting for his first scholarship offer and looking for a strong performance during his senior campaign.
“A lot of schools are really just waiting to see my first few games. Northwestern told me there could be an offer coming after my first game." Williams said.
“I would say my favorites right now are Northwestern, Wyoming and Iowa State. Wyoming and Iowa State have both said they want to see my first few games as well.”
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker talks about his upcoming season and expectations.
“Football practice has been going good," Williams said. "We are going to be a lot better than we were last year. I will be playing linebacker, tight end and receiver. I want to have more tackles and a few picks this year."
