Bolden will be a three-year varsity starter for the Wildkits in 2006. Michael starts at running back and safety for Evanson and projects on the defensive side [cornerback] of the football at the next level with the Northwestern Wildcats. Michael is the son of former Michigan Wolverines football player, Jim Bolden.
Coach's Comments - "Michael has done an outstanding job in the weight room. He has done a great job of getting bigger and stronger. Flat out fast. Runs exceptionally well. Part of every relay in our track team. Will be starting tailback and defensive back for us in 2006." --Tony Johnson
Actually was hoping to work out with the NU team this spring, even delivered his LOI to the Football office in person, but was told he had to mail it in to be legal.
Could develop into a big cover corner - using his speed to help the cats in the secondary - expects to challenge for some kind of playing role as a true frosh. |
