| Picked in the 2005 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers with their second pick in the first round, 28th overall.
2007
Castillo was inactive in weeks 10 through 15 due to a severe ankle injury. His season total was 33 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Castillo started in all three playoff appearances for the Chargers including the AFC Championship against the New England Patriots where he sacked Tom Brady.
2006
Showed terrific improvement during his sophomore campaign. He finished the season with 48 tackles and seven sacks despite missing seven games with an ankle injury. Was named a second-alternate for the Pro Bowl.
2005
Castillo moved into the starting line-up in week two. He finished the season with 61 tackles and 3.5 sacks, earning a place on several all-rookie teams. |
