| "We will have a QB controversy next year" was Coach Randy Walkers comment after Jenkins played a series against Indiana on 11/2. He will be competing with Brett Basanez (current Starter), So. Tony Stauss and Fr. Alex Webb next spring.

Two-time honorable mention all-state (Chicago Tribune and Champaign News-Gazette), two-time all-area (Joliet Herald, Daily Southtown, Naperville Sun and Chicago Sun-Times) and two-time all-conference honoree ... For career, completed 239 of 448 passes (53.3 percent) for 4,278 yards and 39 TDs ... Rushed for 1,142 career yards (4.5 ypc) and 13 TDs ... 16 career returns for 394 yards (24.6 ypr) and two TDs ... Threw for 2,187 yards as a junior and 1,700 yards as a senior ... Rushed for nearly 600 yards his senior season ... Passed for a career-high 289 yards (18-of-29) and two TDs his senior year vs. Hersey ... Holds all single-game, single-season and career school passing marks ... Playing in Suburban vs. Chicago Public and Shrine All-Star games ... Also participated in basketball and track ... Earned Second Honors his junior and senior years ... Coached by Phil Acton.
